Welcome to the Perry Funeral Home Web site

Perry Funeral Home takes great pleasure in celebrating our 50th Anniversary in 2008.

Perry Funeral Home began with a dream and a vision of the late Orlando K. Perry. His dream was realized in 1958 with the establishment of the elegant Perry Funeral Home. Upon the death of her husband in 1990, Virginia Perry assumed the role of President of the firm, a role she occupies today.

Today, Perry Funeral Home is the largest, independent, family-owned, African American owned funeral home in New Jersey.

Perry Funeral Home is a company with established leadership in the funeral services industry and has served the families of Newark and the surrounding communities with compassion and dignity since 1958. The dream and vision of Orlando K. Perry will guide us in 2008 as we "Celebrate our past and design our future" and continue to find new ways to serve our families better.

The celebration will culminate with a 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner Dance on Saturday, November 15, 2008.
